Our story
In 2018, husband and wife team Nathan and Énora Walker created the French inspired cafe ‘Cafe Patisserie’ (now known as The Corner Creperie).
Enter Cafe Patisserie 2.0 - the same, beautiful patisserie-driven offering from Nathan and Enora's first business at 80 Rusden Street, but bigger, brighter and led with a sustainable heart. L’atelier at 242 Rusden uses consistent suppliers, local where possible while seasonality is also a central element to the business model. The cakes, pastries and savouries are made fresh daily on premise.
Every bite reflects our commitment to quality, artistry, and the joy of sharing exceptional food.
"Tarts, croissants, quiches and crepes are all made fresh. We sell between 20 to 30 quiches a day and more than 100 crepes on a Sunday, freshness is important," Nathan says. "We have worked really hard to build up relationships with our brilliant suppliers, which has really paid off. Our local fruit and vegetable supplier delivers the freshest of produce and we design our menu around what is in season.”

I remember making beef burgers and mopping the floors, helping my uncles out with deliveries. I didn’t like it very much – the butchery side of things that is – but I loved working with my grandfather. He was a really strong mentor for me...”
